"Enjoy it with a nice piece of meat grilled on the barbecue!"

"A solid, juicy Collioure. Nose of sweet cherries, dried herbs, stones, and baking spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Well-conducted, with lots of verve. Peppery and lively, with a long finish." (James Suckling 2024)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

Returning to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made their mark by producing fortified Banyuls wines from vintage grapes (ready to drink young), to which they brought a previously unknown precision of flavor and aromatic intensity. Jean-Emmanuel, who arrived in 2010, embodies the family's renewal. He has reduced the size of the vineyard to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot (50 parcels). The vineyard enjoys varied sun exposure and altitudes. He has taken on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which lives to the rhythm of the sea. The dry whites and reds are now among the benchmarks, with frank and intense expressions. We salute the exceptional consistency of the range, in all three colors, as in VDN, and it is therefore logical that it should regain its second star.
