"This cool terroir in the Canigou foothills, where schist dominates, produces wines of great restraint. Beautiful color, but discreet aroma. On aeration, however, the nose reveals itself to be complex: cherry, blackcurrant, violet and fresh white pepper. On the palate, the fruit continues to assert itself, with hints of spice and licorice. Concentration is high and tannins have the silkiness typical of schist wines. A Côtes-du-Roussillon made to last. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020) One word to describe it: Banco!
