Robert Parker
A dense, dark color that reveals ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry) on the nose, followed by a festival of spices and garrigue (pepper, cinnamon, licorice, thyme, rosemary). The palate is ripe and velvety. A bottle well representative of Roussillon!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2020) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
This estate, original in its marketing approach as much as in its wine style, produces cuvées with amusing labels that often linger in the memory. The Perez family travels, thinks and begins to find the way to better recognition of their products. The estate is a good source for powerful, colorful reds, which are sure to fuel debate with their often original, always highly mature profiles.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2020) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
South of Perpignan, Charles Perez has been running his own domaine since 2008 in the hamlet of Nyls, in the Aspres region: 25 hectares of organic vineyards planted on three hills within a 110-hectare estate. In reds, his blends emphasize Syrah. Each year, a different artist "sketches" this vineyard figure to illustrate his labels. The same goes for the members of his family. A sort of Catalan Mouton Rothschild!
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2020 guide) 88/100 (Good wine)
Domaine noté Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Intended to be drunk young and fresh, Côtes du Roussillon Classique 2019 aged in vats is already in bottle. It's a mouthwatering, fruity blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, loaded with mixed berries and just plain fun to drink. Medium-bodied and silky-textured, you could even add a little freshness. This certified organic red is ideal for picnics and warm-weather dishes.

A very good organic wine, rich in the aromas characteristic of Côtes du Roussillon. I'd buy it again without hesitation.
