(2015 vintage notes)

Floral, L'Insolante develops a full-bodied, supple texture structured by firm tannins. Long and complex, it expresses the freshness of the black schist soils of Espira de l'Agly right through to the finish.

Rated estate (2018 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the estate:

The son of Breton farmers who emigrated to the United States, born in Manhattan and Franco-American, Patrick Rety has realized his dream: making wine and working to express the terroir. He studied and began his career in Brittany, selling franchises for a restaurant chain. In 2012, his estate (now 4 hectares) was established near Rivesaltes. It is currently in conversion to organic (biodynamic) farming.

First bottle corked, it can happen! Second bottle fine! Third bottle, strange taste, like wine that hasn't aged well, turning to vinegar, in short, very disappointed!
