A bold blend of three Grenache varieties planted in 1898, this golden-colored cuvée distills scents of orange peel, walnut and anise. On the palate, there are notes of gingerbread and apricot. A complex, rich wine with a long, saline, lively finish.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated wine (guide 2015) 17/20 (vintage 2013) (Great wine)
Domaine rated (2023 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
Paul Old cultivates these old vines between Corbières and Roussillon biodynamically. The minimalist approach in the cellar produces both highs (Prioundo and L'Extrême, in white) and lows, with gas saturation in certain cuvées and an occasional lack of clarity. The wines do, however, know how to age, and benefit from aeration.

Magnificent! After 2 years in the cellar, it's a great white, structured without heaviness, superlative and long on the palate, an expression of white and gray Grenache! I can't wait for the 2015.
