"A nose between spices and red fruits, extended by a round palate, underpinned by small tannins that are a little strict on the finish." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017) Les Maurynates presents a very fine expression of Carignan through complex aromas and a silky, liquorice texture on the finish.

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
A number of very successful vintages from this cooperative, a key player in this appellation due to its size and local influence. While we wait for a new generation of winemakers to do even more justice to the terroir, let's salute the almost unrivalled value for money.

About the domain :
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is the oldest still in operation in the department. After the winegrowers' revolts of 1907, it brought together over 130 owners. Today, the cellar has 870 hectares of its members' land at its disposal, and makes its living from the Grenache grapes that produce the traditional vins doux naturels and, since 2011, dry maury.
