Maury winegrowers

A cooperative winery established in 1910 by 132 winegrowers, Les Vignerons de Maury is a group of men and women who are passionate about their terroir and committed to developing the Maury appellation.

In 1980, to set itself apart from other appellations and distributors, the Cave des Vignerons de Maury created the squat "Maury" bottle for its Vins Doux Naturels. In 1990, tastes changed and the range expanded to include more fruity and indulgent wines.

In 2000, on the initiative of cooperatives, part of the Maury vineyard was converted to red wine. With an exceptional terroir conducive to the cultivation of Grenache Noir, the winegrowers decided to start producing dry wines. In 2001, it became official, and in 2011, the Maury appellation obtained recognition of the term "dry" for still wine.
