"Grenache is the king grape of the valley and of Maury's winegrowers; all their know-how is concentrated in this stunning cuvée, a beautiful deep red, with a deep, elegant nose of black fruit, cocoa and liquorice. A fresh attack opens onto a full, lively, very elegant and expressive palate (notes of Zan, jammy black fruit), with silky tannins and a long, saline finish. A real treat. About the domain :
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is the oldest still in operation in the department. After the winegrowers' revolts of 1907, it brought together over 130 owners. Today, the cellar has 870 hectares of its members' land at its disposal, and makes its living from the Grenache grapes that produce the traditional vins doux naturels and, since 2011, dry maury.
