"This 2016 born of grenache (80%) and carignan, spent three months in vat, exudes sincerity. The nose is a magnificent basket of fruit: wild strawberry, cherry, fig, blackberry. Centered on intense aromas of licorice and jammy red fruits, the palate is just as gourmand, carried by velvety tannins and energized by a fresh finish that leaves an impression of elegance and harmony". About the domain :
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is the oldest still in operation in the department. After the winegrowers' revolts of 1907, it brought together over 130 owners. Today, the cellar has 870 hectares of its members' land at its disposal, and makes its living from the Grenache grapes that produce the traditional vins doux naturels and, since 2011, dry Maury.
