André and Michel Quenard Estate
With a long tradition of winegrowing dating back to the 17th century, the André and Michel Quenard was created in 1976.

Known for its extreme topography, André and Michel Quenard 's vineyards are planted on the Coteau de Torméry, which forms the backdrop to the Chignin mountain, between 300 and 400 m above sea level, with slopes ranging from 40 to 70%.

In 2009, Guillaume Quenard, Michel's eldest son, joined the family domaine after studying in Beaune and Switzerland. He is in charge of vinification.

Domaine André et Michel Quenard produces a full range of white, red, rosé and sparkling wines.

"A balancing Roussanne

"Roussanne thrives on the steeply sloping cailloutis of the Chignin hillsides. It has produced this delicate Bergeron, with stone fruit aromas, a supple, affable palate and a lovely almond finish". (Le Guide Hachette 2025). Tasty and fresh, this is a lovely, spicy, subtle white!

"Cuvée star

Combining fatness and finesse in texture, Grand Rebossan remains at the top in terms of expressiveness and fullness. This cuvée has established itself as a model for the region, and it will be interesting to follow its development over at least a decade of cellaring.

"Noble grape variety, wine of character

A noble grape variety, Mondeuse leaves no one indifferent when tasted in its first spring. It enthralls some and ruffles the sensibilities of others, shaking up the taste buds with its structure and tannins. If you can forget about it, even if only for a year, it softens to reveal its charms and velvety texture. Its mountain image is transformed into an invigorating, seductive beverage, with aromas of raspberry and blueberry, a peppery flavor and a bouquet of autumn flowers.

"A rare grape variety

"Austere in its youth, Persian is known for its biting character. This one is no exception and needs to be refined: it has lovely red fruit and blackcurrant aromas and fine tannins." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2023) Considered a great grape variety during the Renaissance, Persan reappeared at the beginning of the 20th century. This very hardy, difficult-to-cultivate, low-yielding grape variety, which had been discarded and forgotten, is now a rare, local variety. Brought up to date in this cuvée, it offers a very interesting tasting alternative: fruity, flattering and slightly acidic, Persan is, in short, a complex wine worth discovering.

A typical Savoyard grape variety, Jacquère is a fresh, light, fruity and invigorating wine. Ideal as an aperitif, or with a traditional meal. Drink young and chilled. We love its low alcohol content and its taut, fresh palate with floral and fresh fruit aromas. A small price to buy by the case!

From beautiful limestone scree terroirs, this Gamay is a well-structured, brilliant ruby to deep red wine. Its fruity, persistent aromas are reminiscent of strawberry and raspberry. Over time, it may develop animal notes. Let yourself be tempted by its easy-drinking character, but also by its substance and solidity, making it an ideal wine to accompany all your aperitifs and meals. A low price that's making a name for itself.

"A very fine sample, combining fatness of texture and finesse of flavour. Generous fruit with heady floral notes. One hopes to find this depth and élan again after bottling." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2019 - RVF) A great Chignin-Bergeron!
