"An uninspiring cuvée name for a very pleasant wine with a certain distinction. Floral fruit, brambles and spice for a well-constructed red, with a fine chewiness that carries the aromatics nicely. A fine wine for sharing. (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve 2020) Price-pleasure ratios of this caliber are rare!

Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
Domain rated (guide 2020) Awarded wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
Already appreciated in the previous vintage, this pure Merlot aged in barrels for twelve months inspires confidence with its deep color, intense, straightforward red fruit aromas, and generous, well-crafted palate, silky on the attack, still firm and tannic on the finish.
About the domain :
Already owner of an organic farm in Scotland, Julian Taylor bought this estate in 2010, commissioned by a 15th-century château with typical Périgord architecture. He reduced its surface area from 17 to less than 13 ha, keeping only the best parcels. In March 2019, he sold the property to American businessman Frank Campbell and his wife Riki.
