A white wine aged in vats that breaks the Bergerac tradition, in a region where wood is legion. It's a real success, with a full-bodied, dynamic and delicious cuvée. A truly wonderful discovery!

Rated (guide 2022) 92/100 (Vintage 2020)

Domaine rated (2022 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

Bergerac, in the extreme south-east of the appellation: from his plots on the limestone plateau and deep clay hillsides, worked organically, Julien Auroux looks to the future with serenity. His wines have turned their backs on the Bergerac past, which sought to ape the reds of Bordeaux by forgetting the soil. He, on the other hand, is committed to salinity, frank and precise aromatic expression, with indigenous yeast and almost no added sulfur. He rehabilitates grapes from the past for a return to the future. The range draws from the acidity of the soils a digestible presence and climbs a step this year.

A wine of great finesse and singular brilliance. A perfect accompaniment to an aperitif featuring olives, tapenade and other seasonal vegetables... Don't hesitate to decant the wine to fully develop all its aromas.
