Padère Castle
Château de Padère is located in Gascony, in the Buzet appellation. Place names always have a meaning: Padère, which means both "terroir at the end of the moor" and "at the beginning of the land", has two. But that's not its only asset. Château de Padère sits on the edge of the Landes forest, benefiting from the excellence of its ocean breeze. It stands at the beginning of what is not quite sand, but not quite earth. An ideal soil, in short, for vines.
