Vignerons de Buzet
The Vignerons de Buzet winery was created in 1953, as a result of the winegrowers' determination to restore the lustre of past centuries to their wine. Initially a VDQS, the Buzet vineyard was awarded the title of AOC Buzet in 1973.

Located in the heart of the South-West and the Garonne valley, Buzet, a charming village on the left bank of the river Baïse, has seen history in the making since the time of the Roman legions. Vignerons de Buzet wine reflects a history as varied as the soil of the hillsides of the twenty-seven communes in the appellation area.

Nearby, the vast Landes forest, the largest in Europe, gently tempers the oceanic climate. A climate and soils conducive to vine-growing, assets appreciated by Bacchus, have encouraged the planting and development of one of France's oldest vineyards. Today, the Vignerons de Buzet vineyard is bounded on one side by the Garonne river and on the other by the Landes forest, and extends over 2000 hectares in production, situated on 40 km of hillsides in the heart of the Albret region.

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"A blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc, this deep garnet-red wine with hints of violet delighted tasters. As intense as it is elegant, the nose displays a complex palette of red fruits, blackcurrants, prunes, figs, spices and dried fruits. On the palate, it is supported by a tannic structure that is both dense and rounded - an iron fist in a velvet glove - and offers a pleasant return of fruit on the finish. Well-built and persistent, this is a gourmet wine that will age gracefully". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Intense, brilliant, limpid garnet: the presentation of this 2013 is beyond reproach. The wine is just as seductive on the nose, with elegant red and black fruit aromas and soft accents of spice, vanilla and wood. Powerful on the attack, full-bodied and open to jammy blackberry, the wine unfurls with mellow tannins, then encounters a welcome freshness in a most delicate vanilla finish". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)

Note du Guide Hachette des Vins : 2**(Vin remarquable) + Coup de Coeur
"In white as in red, this flagship cuvée from the Buzet winery once again proves its nobility. It adds a new Favorite to its long list of successes with this deep garnet-red 2011, featuring an expressive, intense nose of ripe fruit with a hint of wood. On the palate, the wine is round, fleshy, generous and velvety. Power and seduction come together in this Buzet, which can be drunk young or aged for a few years. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)
