"The fruity palette evolves in this 2019, which elegantly takes up the codes of classic Cahors, the balance is respected between a textured palate and tannin that is beginning to take on width and comes to soften this exceptional vintage." (Le Guide RVF 2024)

Guide Hachette des vins
Domain rated (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Cathy and Daniel Fournié took over this 30-hectare estate in 1998, and have been certified organic since 2012. Self-taught, they sought advice from neighboring winemakers. They learned quickly and well, as witness the regular selections on these pages. Their daughter Mathilde joined them in 2015.

Domaine rated (2023 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
The fruity palette evolves in this 2019, which elegantly takes up the codes of classic Cahors, the balance is respected between a textured palate and a tannin that begins to take on width and softens this exceptional vintage.
About the domain :
The château has been run by Cathy and Daniel Fournié since 1998, and the vines have been grown organically since 2009. The reds have the panache of the Lot's third terraces. Respect for the soil, and above all for the ripeness of the fruit, is evident in every label. The range is more precise than ever, and even the classic cuvées offer a taste of Malbec that's loose and full of panache.
