"In 2018, Cabernet Franc and Merlot make up a cuvée Les Apprentis, pure fruit juice with inky perfumes of juicy blackcurrant and round tannins on a beautiful, generous palate punctuated in the finish by fresh pepper and blood orange. A fine vintage ". (Le Guide RVF 2023)

Rated 90/100
About the wine:
Nice depth, with persistence and body, well-crafted, pleasant, pleasing in its suavity and greedy fruit.

About the wine:
In 2018, Cabernet Franc and Merlot make up a Cuvée Les Apprentis, pure fruit juice with inky perfumes of juicy blackcurrant and round tannins on a beautiful, generous palate punctuated on the finish by fresh pepper and blood orange. A fine cuvée.
About the domain :
When Jean-Mary and Catherine Le Bihan took over the family farm, they opted for the Duras hillsides. And they were right to do so, as they have raised the estate to one of the best in the South-West. In this appellation, which is struggling to emerge, this estate, using a common grape variety, produces original cuvées, pleasant to drink young or made for ageing, such as the superb Perrette et les Noisetiers 2014, tasted in magnum. Clémence, one of their daughters, has joined them.
