Domaine de Beyssac
Visit Domaine de Beyssaccreated in 2009 by the Broutet family, is located in the hills of the Garonne valley, in the Côtes du Marmandais PDO. Since its creation, the couple has been committed to environmentally-friendly viticulture, with Organic Agriculture certification since 2009 and Demeter (Biodynamic) since the 2017 vintage. Both in the cellar and in the vineyard, every effort is made to minimize the impact of their activity.

The Domaine de Beyssac vineyard is located on the hillside of Beyssac, on the right bank of the Garonne, and extends over 13 hectares in a single block, entirely within the Côtes du Marmandais appellation. Domaine de Beyssac grows the region's main red grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Abouriou and Côt. The Domaine produces exclusively red and rosé wines.

"A beautiful Marmandais!"

"Leather and chestnuts on the nose, but rich, tight Damascus plum fruit on the palate. A touch of peach pit, both in texture and flavor. Lots of energy and just a little fiery at the back of the throat. There's a scent of fresh mushrooms that hovers over the wine at first, but settles into the finish. This is a wine that makes me want a bowl of truffle risotto. Drink between 2019 and 2025." (Jancis Robinson)

"Beautiful ripeness and brilliant potential. Confit of red fruit on the nose, cocoa powder on a powerful yet silky structure. Intense finish." (La Revue du Vin de France - June 2018) A true ambassador for the appellation, Domaine de Beyssac has sublimated the wines of Côtes du Marmandais.
