Château Flotis
Visit Château Flotis is located in the commune of Castelnau d'Estretefonds, in the heart of the Fronton appellation vineyards. A historic Fronton winegrowing estate, the building, a splendid U-shaped farmhouse of around 1000 m2, was built at the end of the 18th century.
Abandoned in the 90s, Château Flotis was taken over in 2004 by the Ribes family (also owners of Domaine Le Roc) with the ambition of breathing new life into the château and restoring the past lustre of one of the jewels in the Fronton appellation.
The Ribes family's hard work and dedication to the vineyard over many years has resulted in the Château Flotis terroir boasting some magnificent grape varieties (Négrette, Syrah, Chenin, Muscadelle, Chardonnay).

In 2018, Fabienne and Raphaël Agosti acquired the building and a few plots of vines. Sensitive to the Ribes family's know-how and vision of working the land, they decided to leave the winemaking to them exclusively.

"A Negrette with character, to drink or to keep!

"Indeed, this cuvée has a beautiful intensity of color, and no lack of aromatic power either (red and black fruits, spices, a touch of animal). On the palate, the wine is supple and round, supported by smooth tannins. A fronton that can be enjoyed both young and aged. (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

This Fronton is known for its intense fruitiness and tight tannins that suggest great potential. On the palate, it is chewy with a long finish. A fine wine for the table!

(2012 vintage notes)

Named after the painter Jeanne Lacombe, who painted the labels, this cuvée is a springtime wine with a flattering nose of refreshing red fruit aromas. On the palate, it's delicious, with notes of violet, well-balanced and very tasty. Very "Toulousain" in character... There are 6 different labels for this wine. They will be delivered at random by the producer.
