This Fronton is known for its intense fruitiness and tight tannins that suggest great potential. On the palate, it is chewy with a long finish. A fine wine for the table!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
The cuvées often express a pronounced salinity, typical of the cru. Sy is one of the appellation's most powerful wines.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
In the Ribes family, everyone has their place. Jean-Luc, a bluesman in his spare time, took over the family estate in 1981, joined over time by Frédéric and Cathy, then by Pierre. The estate covers 23 ha on boulbènes and gravelly soils.

Rated Coup de Coeur (Vintage 2016)
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
With the arrival of their young sons, Grégoire and Anne, the Ribes family integrated the vines of Château Flotis, a neighboring property, into the Roc estate. Syrah and négrette on a stony hillside thus swell the estate's ranks. The bouysselet, grafted and vinified in barrels, produces an ambitious white; alongside it, the négrettes remain in top form, thanks to careful and increasingly modern vinification.
