"A diamond in the rough
"Oxidative and orange peel on gingerbread notes - the Larrieu style - make this a digestible wine, especially on the palate evoking citrus. On the lemony finish, there's a touch of rancio and hints of gentian". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2022 - RVF)

Expert opinion
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2022 guide) 91/100
Domaine rated (2024 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
Oxidative and orange peel on gingerbread notes - the Larrieu style - make this a digestible wine, especially on the citrusy palate. The lemony finish reveals a touch of rancio and hints of gentian.
About the domain :
Jean-Bernard Larrieu consistently produces Jurançons, both dry and sweet, of the highest quality. The dry wines are offered with a commendable touch of evolution, and are a faithful expression of the terroirs of this region. The mellow wines, always of fine stature, bear witness to a real mastery of balance. A benchmark domaine offering classic, deep and powerful wines that deserve to be aerated to take advantage of their great scope.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 93/100
Domain rated (guide 2023) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Wine Enthusiast)
About the wine:
Luscious orange and honey flavors emerge from this dry wine. With its blend of the two Mansengs, Gros and Petit, and the rare Petit Courbu, it has richness as well as a tight dry, fresh character. The wine is just ready to drink. Organic.
