"A wine with a heady nose of stone fruit, cherry or plum brandy. On the palate, it appears full-bodied and warm, but the tannins are already well coated and the finish balanced. A wine with an accent". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022)

About the wine:

A wine with a heady nose of stone fruit, cherry and plum brandy. On the palate, it appears full-bodied and warm, but the tannins are already well coated and the finish balanced. A wine with accent.

About the domain :

Founded around 1850, this family-run estate has seen 6 successive generations. Following in the footsteps of his father Louis, Didier Barré, who settled here in 1983, contributed to the revival of Madiran, of which he was one of the standard-bearers. In 2017, sisters Claire and Marion Bortolussi (daughters of Alain Bortolussi of Ch. Viella) took over the destiny of this flagship 25-hectare estate, forging a partnership with wine merchant Lionel Osmin to manage the operation and market the cuvées.
