"Bold and structured, this rich wine was bottled without sulfur. It has a beautiful juicy texture and a lovely black fruit profile. These qualities go hand in hand with the wine's dense structure, which promises considerable aging potential. Drink from 2026 onwards." (Wine Enthusiast 2022)

About the estate:

Founded around 1850, this family estate has been passed down through six generations. In 2017, sisters Claire and Marion Bortolussi (daughters of Alain Bortolussi of Ch. The conversion to organic farming began in 2020.

Note and opinion by Mr. FREDERIC B. Published on 06/25/2025

The best wine from southwestern France tasted during our October 2024 evening. A beautiful nose of black fruits. The palate is full-bodied with a chocolate finish. I had never tasted a Tannat grape variety that had not been aged in wood before, and I am charmed by this one. A second bottle tasted during a grape variety evening in June 2025 gave the same impression, with a touch of sweetness on the finish.
