"The Riesling Rosenberg Vendanges Tardives 2020 comes from vines over 50 years old in a parcel called Pfleck within the Rosenberg. It was harvested three times: at maturity, with partial botrytis and full botrytis. The nose merges orange peel with ripe peach and adds a touch of lemon. On the palate, botrytized peach roundness is bordered by apricot compote. The finish is wonderfully taut, bright, lively and defined by a glorious drizzle of lemon. It flows so gracefully over the palate that you really can't tell how much alcohol it contains (14%) and the sweetness is also in the background. Very complex finish with many exotic notes. This terroir gives the grape an expression marked by citrus, lemon, white flowers and a deliciously exotic touch. Dense, racy and taut on the palate, with a fine mineral note. A great gourmet wine!
