"Another face of Beaujolais
Stemming from an old vineyard parcel located on a Lantignié microgranite vein, this cuvée was harvested for the first time in 2018 after several years ravaged by hail. With its nose of ripe red fruit, cherries in brandy, mentholated and camphorated, Alio Pacto offers a silky, dense wine with lovely juice and a fresh finish. Its tannins are already silky, although it's easy to imagine that a few years will allow it to blossom even further. Discover another face of Beaujolais, a cru cultivated in another way, alio pacto in Latin, for divine pleasure!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux and his wife Catherine gave birth to Domaine de Capréoles in July 2014 with three hectares of adjoining vines, an area added to by two hectares two years later. From beaujolais-villages to cru régnié, everything is recommendable, with, it seems to us, more refined maturation. A fine address.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux - who arrived from Languedoc-Roussillon, where he officiated at estates belonging to the Gérard Bertrand group - and his wife, originally from Beaujolais, bought this 250-year-old estate in 2014. They now cultivate 8 hectares of organic vines planted like a garden around the property, with an exceptional view of Régnié-Durette's two bell towers.

Rated 15/20 (Vintage 2019) (Good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list, and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux is one of those neo-winemakers who are making a difference in Beaujolais. Technical director of a major Languedoc wine merchant for six harvests, he settled in Régnié with his wife Catherine, an agricultural engineer like himself, on an abandoned estate. As soon as they arrived, in 2014, they committed to organic certification, confirmed in 2017. Adhering to the maxim "The rule is that there are no rules", they adapt the de-stemming and ageing process to suit each year.
