"Remarkable purity

L'Amourgandise lives up to its name: pure, crystalline fruit aromas on the nose, and a fruity, gourmet palate of innocent finesse. A suave, ready-to-eat wine that highlights the terroirs of the village of Lantignié and its terraces.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 89/100

Domain rated (guide 2024) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the wine:

In the Lantignié style for its fruity presence, without any sparkle today, but with body and freshness that give it a certain length. A fine bistro cuvée.

About the domain :

Cédric Lecareux and his wife Catherine gave birth to Domaine de Capréoles in July 2014 with three hectares of adjoining vines, an area added to by two hectares two years later. From beaujolais-villages to cru régnié, everything is recommendable, with, it seems to us, more refined maturation. A fine address.

About the domain :

Cédric Lecareux - who arrived from Languedoc-Roussillon, where he worked at domains for the Gérard Bertrand group - and his wife, originally from Beaujolais, bought this 250-year-old estate in 2014. They cultivate 8 hectares of organic vines, planted like a garden around the property, with an exceptional view of the two bell towers of Régnié-Durette.

About the domain :

Cédric Lecareux is one of those neo-winemakers who are making a difference in Beaujolais. Technical director of a major Languedoc wine merchant for six harvests, he settled in Régnié with his wife Catherine, an agricultural engineer like himself, on an abandoned estate. As soon as they arrived, in 2014, they committed to organic certification, confirmed in 2017. Adhering to the maxim "The rule is that there are no rules", they adapt the de-stemming and ageing process each year.

Rated Domaine (2023 guide) Recommended

About the wine:

The complex, savory Morello cherry nose draws you into this impressive Beaujolais that's already beautifully balanced, but also well structured. The finish is long, with healthy tannins, licorice and savory notes. Made from organically grown grapes. For drinking or cellaring.

A pleasant, fresh, fruity wine to drink with friends. A very good Beaujolais that deserves to be kept for 2/3 years.
