A real success for this cuvée made from old vines, voted 2** Coup de Cœur in 2019. On the nose, a hint of spice mingles with notes of black and red fruits. Rich and harmonious on the palate, with fine minerality. A full-bodied, well-balanced wine that's perfect for cellaring for several years.

Winemaking

This wine is made from semi-carbonic fermentation of de-stemmed grapes during 11 to 12 days of vatting, at a temperature of between 28 and 31°C in order to extract the sweet tannins and bring out the minerality of this wine, which is typical of the Côtes de Brouilly terroir.

About the domain :

Didier Lagneau, the eighth generation, took over the family estate in 2018. He manages this estate, born from 4 ha of vines in the late 1970s and nestled in a quiet valley in Quincié. Today, the vineyard covers 19 ha. A (very) safe bet for Côte-de-Brouilly and Régnié.
