Powerful and complex, Les Vignes Centenaires presents concentrated scents of ripe fruit mixed with woody notes. The wood ageing is discreet, and the tannins mellow. No wonder it was selected by the world's best sommelier du Monde 2019 Marc Almert!

About the domain :
Winegrowers in Juliénas since the early 17th century, the Perrachon family bought Ch. de la Bottière in 1877, then Dom. des Perelles in Romanèche-Thorins (windmill). When Laurent Perrachon set up in 1989, he acquired Dom. des Mouilles, then parcels in Morgon, Fleurie and Saint-Amour: a total of 31 ha, with vines in six crus. With Maxime and Adrien, the new generation joined the domaine in 2016.

Complex, less about the fruit than the appellation.

Served at a temperature of 16°C. We were won over by its well-controlled tannic structure and very persistent violet retro-olfaction. A fine Juliénas!
