This Morgon originates from one of the best plots, with an iron-rich granitic subsoil that gradually decomposes into pink sand. You'll appreciate the intense color of this Morgon. The nose opens with aromas of stone fruits (vine peaches, cherries, etc.) and red berries (blackcurrants, redcurrants, etc.). This is followed by floral and spicy notes, such as rose and white pepper. On the palate, this cuvée offers a surprising sensation of volume and roundness. The palate is straightforward, long and fresh. This Morgon is the perfect table wine to cellar.

About the domain :

Son and grandson of winegrowers, Franck Chavy set up in 1991 with a few hectares of Morgon. Through buyouts and sharecropping, he has expanded his estate to 9.5 ha, while at the same time making his mark in the Guide, where he is a sure bet. This success is undoubtedly due to his high vine density (10,000 vines/ha) and long maceration periods.
