Planted on schist soils, the Gamay grapes here display a fine aromatic finesse. Complex and long on the palate, Morgon cuvée Noémie is a perfect match for tasty meats.

Domain rated (guide 2022) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

In the center of the village of Chiroubles, on the green balcony of the Beaujolais, sixth-generation Christophe farms 16.5 hectares, 14 of which are in his cru. Vinifying with (classic) semi-carbonic maceration, he de-stems parcels where the grapes are not yet ripe. He sells everything in the bottle, and at a fair price - the price at which chiroubles should be sold. We are surprised, however, by the stylistic differences in the range, noting irregularities in recent vintages.

Purple color. Nose of spices (white pepper) Mouth quite evolved with acidity. Less flattering than Ruet's wine of the same vintage.
