"The nose seduces with notes of cocoa powder, red fruit and licorice stick. The palate is medium-bodied, with a slight warmth on the finish. It should be drunk young. (La Revue du Vin de France - July 2022) A cuvée well known to 1J1V customers and regularly awarded by the press. The 2020 is once again very impressive. Round and intense. Great potential!

Domaine Guénaël Jambon
Morgon
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Guénaël Jambon settled in Morgon in 2001, after studying viti-œno in Burgundy. In 2004, he took over Domaine des Roches du Py, followed by Grand-Cras in 2007 and Morgon in 2012. Guénaël Jambon is an adept of parcel-based, non-interventionist winemaking, but is no less demanding in terms of vinification. His wines are precise in both expression and ageing. All the wines presented here are in a dense, structured style, without ever falling into a show of force. A recommendable range.
