Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2021 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
David and Cathy Duthel have a reliable and regular production of well-made vintages and immediate pleasure.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domain rated (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Founded in 1926 on the northern slopes of Mont Brouilly, this family estate covers 21 ha, with parcels in four crus: brouilly, côte-de-brouilly, régnié and morgon. A sure bet in Beaujolais: the first wine to fall in love was a 1984, and many others have followed. David Duthel took over the running of the estate in 2010, supplementing it with a trading activity.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated (2020 guide) 17/20 + Coup de cœur (Grand vin)
Domain rated (guide 2022) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
Boosted by the southern exposure of the Côte de Py, this locality brings out the fine fragrance of loose rock. The palate impresses with its chewiness and spicy, mineral undertones.
About the domain :
Cathy Duthel and her husband David Duthel have taken over from Jean-Paul Ruet, who developed bottled sales at this estate founded in 1926. A firm believer in traditional semi-carbonic vinification, Domaine Ruet adapts to the profile of each vintage, partially de-stemming depending on the year, ageing in wood or vats, punching down and de-stemming to offer maximum fruit. Careful selection of plots brings out the marriage of soil and Gamay. A wide and very homogeneous range of wines to discover in a well-stocked cellar.
