Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Founded in 1926 on the northern slopes of Mont Brouilly, this family estate covers 21 ha, with parcels in four crus: brouilly, côte-de-brouilly, régnié and morgon. A sure bet in Beaujolais: the first Favorite was a 1984, and many others have followed. David Duthel took over the running of the estate in 2010, supplementing it with a trading activity.

About the domain :
Cathy Duthel and her husband David Duthel have taken over from Jean-Paul Ruet, who developed bottled sales at this estate founded in 1926. A firm believer in traditional semi-carbonic vinification, Domaine Ruet adapts to the profile of each vintage, partially de-stemming depending on the year, ageing in wood or vats, punching down and de-stemming to offer maximum fruit. Careful selection of plots brings out the marriage of soil and Gamay. A wide and very homogeneous range of wines to discover in a well-stocked cellar.
