Bettane & Desseauve
"A new cuvée for the château, following the purchase of Domain de la Tour du Bief. This first-rate terroir is expressed, even in 2012, by extra body and softness in the texture, lovely depth and elegance." (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France) A real success for this new wine, produced with small yields in limited quantities.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 15/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2023 guide) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the wine:
A new cuvée for the château, following the purchase of Domain de la Tour du Bief. This first-rate terroir is expressed, even in 2012, by extra body and softness in texture, lovely depth and elegance.
About the domain :
Jean-Jacques Parinet's ambitious and consistent renovation of the vineyard and winery is now delivering the expected results. Progress has been meteoric and production continues to dominate the appellation. He can rely on a talented team, made up of Édouard Parinet, their cellar master Brice Lafon and their communications manager Morgane Chambriard. A key player for the appellation and the region, and a formidable ambassador creating value and image in France and around the world.

Wine rated (2015 guide) 16.5/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2023 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
La Rochelle, with its superb constitution, concentrated fruit and silky tannins, will delight wine-lovers a decade from now.
About the domain :
Since its acquisition by the Parinet family in 2009, this vast estate has invested considerable human resources in rejuvenating the wings of Moulin-à-Vent, like Château des Jacques in its day. In a modern Gamay style, with long, well-managed ageing in wood, the numerous parcel-based cuvées express the complexity and diversity of the soils. 2016 saw the arrival of the estate's first white vines (4.5 hectares) in the Mâcon and Pouilly-Fuissé appellations, under the name Roc des Boutires.
