"Old vines, nearly 100 years old, on the granite terroir of Chassignol, a 17-day vinification with part of the harvest destemmed, and 12 months of oak barrel ageing. These are the main features of this ambitious cuvée. An ambition unanimously acclaimed by the jury. Full-bodied, structured and coated with silky tannins, this moulin-à-vent also boasts great length. The oak is present, but does nothing to detract from its freshness and aromatic complexity, with notes of peony and black fruit". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021)

About the wine:
Almost 100-year-old vines on the granite terroir of Chassignol, a 17-day vinification with part of the grapes destemmed, and 12 months of oak barrel ageing. These are the broad outlines of this ambitious cuvée. An ambition unanimously acclaimed by the jury. Full-bodied, structured and coated with silky tannins, this moulin-à-vent also boasts great length. The oak is present, but in no way detracts from its freshness and aromatic complexity, with notes of peony and black fruit.
About the domain :

The nose is a little closed, opening out onto a vegetal side. The palate is drying and the wood still too present. To be waited for.

It's not that it's not good. It's just not to my taste.
