This certified organic and Biodynamic wine is produced using a natural vinification process known as infusion (like tea), rather than extraction. Cuvée Barthélemy is the ideal complement to all fine, delicate dishes. - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 3 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
Owned since 1610 by the Amoreau family, this estate stands out for its terroir, its singular winemaking methods and, above all, its viticulture. Led by fervent advocates of biodynamic viticulture, including its director Harold Langlais, production is often hailed by natural wine enthusiasts, but the infused style may confuse those accustomed to classic Bordeaux. From the classic Cuvée Émilien to Cuvée Barthélémy, the wines are deep and have great ageing potential. For the latter plot selection, the domaine is applying to the INAO for AOC recognition, given its red clay and limestone geology, its position on the highest point of the appellation and the bacterial quality of the soils, which have not seen any inputs for ages. In the meantime, the estate's production is labelled Vin de France.

About the domain :
Long ignored, even despised, Le Puy now attracts a great deal of attention, and arouses the curiosity of its most prestigious neighbors, who don't hesitate to travel in packs, as Harold Langlais, its director, confided to us. It has to be said that the estate has a lot going for it, if only in terms of storytelling: a family whose winegrowing origins date back to the early 17th century, soils that have never undergone the ravages of chemistry for over 400 years, wines and landscapes whose quasi-mystical aura would make even the most fervent Cartesian doubt.

About the domain :
A little further east, overlooking the Dordogne, Château le Puy boasts 15 generations of the Amoreau family since 1610. The champions of the most natural viticulture possible and minimalist cellar interventionism, they produce moving, sincere wines, whether from the famous Château le Puy or the Closerie Saint Roc, purchased in 2012, whose Les Noyers 2020 parcel cuvée is superb, combining depth and velvety flesh in serene completeness.
