Drink or Keep
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor (rated Exceptional by RVF), 2006 certainly owes much of its personality, fruitiness and exceptional freshness to the very special time chosen to harvest the grapes at very high ripeness: in the afternoon, after the morning dews... A wine of great complexity, with mellow oak and aromas of exotic and candied fruit, and good ageing potential thanks to prolonged barrel ageing. Drink it now in its enchanting youth, or in a few years' time, when it will be a great table companion. Another exceptional success!
