Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2019) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
Château Lamothe's origins date back to the 16th century, and it has been owned by the same family since 1956. Today, the 80-hectare vineyard is run by Anne Neel and her children, Maria and Damien Chombart. They have enlarged the vineyard and installed impressive underground galleries in the cellars. The Valentine cuvée is made with care and respect for classic balance. It crosses the vintages while remaining true to its style.

An invigorating white driven by the tension and aromatics of Sauvignon. Frank and lively, it nevertheless lacks a little structure and depth. Enjoy as an aperitif.
