Château Mont-Pérat

Château Mont-Pérat
In 1998, the Despagne family acquired the Château Mont-PératThis 100-hectare estate is all in one piece. Thibault Despagne takes care to develop biodiversity on the estate by planting numerous shrubs. This allows wildlife to thrive in the heart of the vines, thus reducing the need for treatments.

Château Mont-Pérat wines are part of the Bordeaux appellation. The same care is taken during production as for the Despagne family's other properties (Château Tour de Mirambeau, Château Rauzan Despagne and Château Bel Air - Peroncher). A modern yet traditional approach to highlighting the often under-appreciated terroirs of Entre-Deux-Mers.

"Very nice fruity expression!"

"Very fine fruity expression marked by notes of lime, grapefruit and white pepper. The wine is fruity, juicy, balanced and thirst-quenching. The finish is fruity, saline and persistent, ideally sustained and stretched by a noble bitterness. A great success " (Yves Beck 2022)

"A gourmet wine with ripe fruit aromas. The wood tannins add density and structure on the palate, enriching it with spicy notes and exotic accents. A period in a carafe will be welcome if this wine is to be appreciated in its younger years". (Guide Hachette Edition 2021)

Château Mont Pérat 2013

2*Étoiles Hachette

A "Coup de coeur" finalist, this 2013 immediately seduces with its intense, gourmet bouquet of exotic fruit, citrus, ripe apple and pastry. A fresh, supple attack introduces an equally expressive palate, ample, round and very long, well supported by fine, measured oak. An elegant, complete and complex Bordeaux". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)
