«Ce vin dense est rempli de fruits généreux et doté d'une structure fine. Déjà équilibré, les notes de mûres explosent, agrémentées de touches d'épices et de chocolat noir. Réalisé par l'équipe de Lynch-Bages, il est d'une élégance similaire. » (Wine Enthusiast 2017) Livraison en caisse bois pour toute commande de 6 bouteilles de ce vin (Hors mode de livraison Point Relais) Lancement Millésime 2016 !

Château Ormes de Pez
Saint-Estèphe
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated domain (2022 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that sets the standard in its sector)
About the domain :
Les Ormes has disappeared, but the hamlet of Pez is still home to this lovely property, acquired by Jean-Michel Cazes. Vinification is carried out under the watchful eye of the Château Lynch-Bages teams, adding a little extra soul and, above all, elegance to the wine. With more careful and precise vinification than in the past, they have gained in refinement.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Vin noté (guide 2018) 91/100 (Vin formidable)
About the wine :
Les Ormes de Pez 2016 is a deep garnet purple, with a nose of red and black berry fruit, earth, sage and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate is refreshingly chewy, with herbal scents.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Vin noté (guide 2019) 16,5/20 (Très bon vin)
Rated domain (2022 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine :
Very well constituted, it offers all the charm of the vintage and a very seductive roundness.
About the domain :
This pretty estate owes its name to the beautiful elm trees that once adorned its garden. In the hands of the Cazes family (Lynch-Bages) since the 1930s, Ormes de Pez produces a wine that seduces wine-lovers with its full, rich, seductive bouquet. It's generally a fast-drinking wine, and has proved its consistency for over ten years, thanks to the work of a perfectly honed team. A bargain.

Wine Enthusiast
Vin noté (guide 2017) 94/100
About the wine :
Tasted from barrel. This dense wine is full of generous fruit and fine structure. Already balanced, the blackberry notes explode, enhanced by hints of spice and dark chocolate. Made by the Lynch-Bages team, it is similarly elegant.
