"This dense wine is full of generous fruit and has a fine structure. Already well-balanced, the blackberry notes explode, complemented by hints of spice and dark chocolate. Produced by the Lynch-Bages team, it is similarly elegant. " (Wine Enthusiast 2017) Delivery in wooden cases for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method). Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Les Ormes has disappeared, but the hamlet of Pez is still home to this beautiful property, acquired by Jean-Michel Cazes. The winemaking process is carried out under the watchful eye of the teams at Château Lynch-Bages, adding a little extra soul and, above all, a great deal of elegance to the wine. With more careful and precise winemaking techniques than in the past, the wines have gained in refinement.

Wine rating (2018 guide) 91/100 (Excellent wine)

About wine:

Les Ormes de Pez 2016 has a deep garnet purple color, with a nose of red and black berries, earth, sage, and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing and chewy, with herbal notes.

Wine rated (2019 guide) 16,5/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

With a beautiful structure, it offers all the charm of the vintage and a very appealing roundness.

About the estate:

This beautiful property owes its name to the magnificent elm trees that once adorned its garden. Owned by the Cazes family (Lynch-Bages) since the 1930s, Ormes de Pez produces a wine that appeals to connoisseurs with its full, rich and seductive bouquet. It is generally drunk fairly quickly and has shown great consistency for over ten years, thanks to the work of a well-oiled team. A good deal.
