Robert Parker

"A sensational achievement from this producer, Dignus 2013 is a blend of 50% Tempranillo complemented in equal parts by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is at altitude on limestone soil, and the wine is aged for 12 months in 3-wine French oak barrels. The result is close to the Bordeaux style, with notes of licorice, cedar, tobacco leaf and red and black fruit. Dark ruby to violet in color, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with notes of undergrowth, spices and cedar. Drink over the next 3-4 years. (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
