Robert Parker
"Antiguos Vinedos 2011 is made from Tempranillo grapes planted in 1950 and aged for 14 months in barrel. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in barrels. The fruit is ripe with a mix of red and black berries that are very well integrated with the sweet spices and smoky aromas of the barrel. The palate is moderately powerful, with plenty of smoky flavors and abundant, fine, slightly dusty tannins that beg to stay in the bottle a little longer. 2011 was a hot year and you can feel it in this wine."
