« Comme j'ai pu le constater ces dernières années, l'assemblage non millésimé de Único Reserva Especial (cuvée de 2019) est fait avec des millésimes plus jeunes que ceux habituellement utilisés. Dans ce cas, ce sont les millésimes 2006, 2007 et 2009 et évidemment les dernières cuvées d'Único. C'est principalement à base de Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) et un peu de Cabernet Sauvignon. Il a eu un élevage en fût un peu plus long (l'assemblage a été mis en bouteille en juin 2015, en même temps que l'Único 2009); donc les bases de 2006 et 2007 étaient en fûts plus longtemps. Il a un caractère similaire au 2009, peut être un peu plus subtil et élégant mais pas vraiment plus complexe avec des tanins et un corps assez charnu.» (Wine Advocate 2019 - Robert Parker) Une cuvée confidentielle et mythique.

About the wine :
As I've noticed in recent years, the non-vintage blend of Único Reserva Especial (2019 vintage) is made with younger vintages than those usually used. In this case, it's the 2006, 2007 and 2009 vintages and, of course, the latest Único cuvées to go on sale. It's mainly based on Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and a little Cabernet Sauvignon. It had a slightly longer barrel ageing (the blend was bottled in June 2015, at the same time as the Único 2009); so the 2006 and 2007 bases were in barrels longer. It has a similar character to the 2009, perhaps a little more subtle and elegant but not really more complex with tannins and a fairly fleshy body.
