"The Soplo 2020 is a young Garnacha with some 10% Monastrell and Forcalla and moderate alcohol (13.7%). It was fermented with 20% whole bunches in stainless steel with gentle vinification and aged in oak vats for 12 months. It has a brilliant ruby color and a fragrant, expressive nose, young, blending fruit and flowers, elegant and with a fresh palate with very fine tannins, great texture and very concentrated, clean flavors. Superb. Excellent value too. " (Wine Advocate 2022)

A delightful discovery. The palate combines power and volume with supple, dense, coated tannins. This 100% Grenache highlights a fine concentration of fruit, accompanied by notes of spice and a few touches of tobacco and vanilla, the result of a long, well-focused ageing process. It's as crisp as you could wish for, right through to the lightly acidic finish. Bonus: an attractive price. Drink slightly chilled at 15° with a generous dish of Spanish rice with marinated pork spider and chorizo cooked a la plancha.
