Disznoko Estate
Visit Disznoko Estate ("Le Rocher du sanglier") owes its name to a large stone at the foot of the white pavilion overlooking the estate, which, according to the locals, resembles a wild boar. The estate, classified "Premier Cru" in 1734, has belonged to several noble families. In the early 19th century, Menyhért Lónyay built the Maison Jaune, the estate's wine storehouse. Today, this beautiful classical-style building houses one of the region's most famous restaurants.

In 1992, the Disznoko Estate is acquired by the AXA Millésimes Group. From this point onwards, the estate was completely restructured thanks to major investments. Tokaj wines returned to their glorious past.

A large part of the Disznoko Estate was replanted with Furmint and Harslevelo grapes. An ageing cellar was dug into the rock next to the new winemaking buildings. Visit Disznoko Estate produces the full range of Tokaj wines: Dry White Wines, Late Harvest, Aszú, Aszú Eszencia and Eszencia, the last 3 being nicknamed Hungary's Gold.

Inspiration is a poetic cuvée that opens the door to another world of Tokaji: dry Tokaji. Mostly made from Furmint, the region's king grape variety, this Tokaji reveals a full, opulent mouthfeel with a fresh structure. The finish is rich and balanced, with a saline touch. A must-try!

96/100 Robert Parker

"Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos is a blend of Furmint, Zéta and Harslevelu, macerated mainly with finished wine. It boasts an exceptional bouquet of tangerine, quince and marmalade, as well as sublime minerality and tension. The palate is very well balanced with madarine, lime, orange peel and a touch of quince. This is a crisp wine, an unpredictable but convincing Tokaji with a very long, sustained finish. A 5 Puttonyos highly recommended." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker)

An exceptional vintage! From a single parcel, this Kapi is the quintessence of Disznoko's style: purity of fruit combined with the strength and vigor of botrytis. A highly concentrated, pure, perfectly balanced wine with a long, persistent finish. A sweet wine with a mineral character and great freshness. A unique wine!

This beautiful Cuvée 6 Puttonyos is rich, opening with delicate notes of honey, apricot and orange. A very fresh wine, very pure, complex and extremely long and persistent. Its smoothness, balance and concentration give it great ageing potential. An exemplary bottle!

Disznoko produces an intense white, distilling aromas of citrus, pineapple, apricot and marmalade. Very fleshy, this is a cuvée with an unctuous structure, intense acidity and a long, delicious finish. A success for pure pleasure!

A late-harvest Tokaji offering notes of peach, pear, wildflower honey and spices (cloves). The attack on the palate is soft, followed by lovely acidity and a long, slightly chocolaty finish. Ideal with Asian cuisine or desserts... To be discovered!
