"A very fine vintage!"
"The 2016 is dark in the glass, with a peppery touch that gives way to aromas of black cherry and dried roses. The palate is silky and refined, with vibrant acidity reviving ripe red fruits and saline minerals. The wine is long and lightly structured, with dark chocolate offset by notes of tart citrus and cherry pits. This savory cuvée is already gorgeous, but it will only get better with time. About the wine:
Aromas of fresh dates and currants follow through to a medium-bodied palate with fine, slightly firm tannins and a good dose of fruit on the finish. Made from organically grown grapes. Not the most complex Amarone, but I like its concentration and balance. Drink it or keep it.
