"A true treasure of the Jura region with exceptional aging potential!"

"The 2016 Vin Jaune is characterized by an appealing smoky character. The wine is lively, well-defined, elegant, and rather light for an Arbois Vin Jaune, even showing a certain thinness on the mid-palate." (Le Guide RVF 2024). Enjoy it now, while it is young and exuberant, or wait 15 years.

About wine:

The 2016 Vin Jaune is characterized by an appealing smoky character. The wine is lively, well-defined, elegant, and rather light for an Arbois Vin Jaune, even showing a certain thinness on the mid-palate.

About the estate:

This vast estate located in the municipalities of Arbois and Pupillin was founded by Roger Martin from Burgundy, who planted 14 hectares of Savagnin grapes, making it the largest vineyard in the Jura dedicated to this grape variety in the 1950s. Pierre, his son, and Vincent, his grandson, are now in charge of the estate. The estate has been practicing organic viticulture since 1999 and biodynamic viticulture since 2009. Many older vintages are still available at reasonable prices.
