"Sumptuous texture for this yellow En Spois wine, with a generous nose of cereals, green walnuts and fresh butter. The palate offers the comfort of the greatest meursaults, and the work on texture is simply sumptuous. A great yellow, on a par with the greatest Châteaux-Chalon". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - Gault Millau)

Arbois
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 4*Stars (Very high quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
Sparkling like his crémants, energetic like his whites, inviting like his reds and generous like his yellow wines, Stéphane Tissot is without doubt the driving force behind the Jura vineyards. Taking over the family domaine in 1993 with his wife Bénédicte, he has revealed the full richness of the Jura terroirs through great wines made from plot selection. The variety of the range is matched only by the quality and purity of the wines, and the winemaker's tireless experimentation and craftsmanship. High-density stilt planting, massal selection, amphora ageing, extended maceration and sulfur-free wines are just some of the strings Stéphane Tissot has added to his bow. Some 50 hectares of biodynamic vineyards make up one of the region's most exciting estates.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 3*Stars (They represent the excellence of the French vineyard. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical moment)
About the domain :
What a journey Stéphane Tissot has made since 1990! The vineyard's conversion to organic farming began in 1999, and it is now biodynamically cultivated. Whatever the type of wine, everything is managed with talent and sensitivity, and the flavors are of perfect integrity. The Macvins are the finest in the region. The rusticity often imparted by the marcs is marvelously melted here! The reds and oxidative wines have acquired an unforgettable finesse and freedom of tone. The rigor of the work accomplished and the kaleidoscopic depth of the range unquestionably place the domaine at the pinnacle of regional production.
