"Discovery!"

"Apart from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that make up this blend, everything else is typically Jura. This Crémant has hints of yeast, tight, tangy acidity, and a perfume of orange blossom. It's ready to enjoy. (Wine Enthusiast 2021). Bubbles of pleasure to discover!

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated 14/20 (Good wine)

Domain rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the wine:

A fine, refreshing, salivating bubble enhances the silky texture of this crémant, whose minerality, combined with a sensitive dosage, lends itself well to a summer aperitif.

About the domain :

It is one of the largest domains in the Jura, with 65 hectares of vines spread over the Arbois, Côtes du Jura and L'Étoile appellations. The range, which includes numerous cuvées of all types of wine (ouillés, sous voile, crémants, macvin, paille and jaune), with a majority of whites, was reputed to be complete but uneven, with some fine nuggets in the older vintages. The wines have regained a certain unity of quality.

Domain rated (guide 2023) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

The Arbois appellation owes much to Domaine Rolet. Although over the years it has managed to preserve its own style, combining classic Jura craftsmanship with technical mastery, the domaine has not always achieved homogeneity across its range. Wines characterized by ageing under sail (in particular Arbois yellow wines) are the most consistently successful. In spring 2018, the estate and its vineyards were acquired by the Devillard family, well known for their Burgundy production, along with other shareholders. Under the aegis of Cédric Ducoté the latest vintages show increased stylistic assurance and more consistency, we are delighted.
