"A Marvel"

This pure Grenache Noir grown at altitude has a deep, very dark color. Its explosive nose is intensely fragrant with camphor and menthol notes over pure fruit. The palate is harmonious, smooth, and powdery, with tannins that are still firm but elegant. A wine balanced by lively freshness and a long finish with spice notes. A very fine bottle!

Rated estate (2023 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

Gaëlle and Florian met in Burgundy and decided to settle in Languedoc in the early 2010s. After several years of searching, the Franco-German couple settled in Fontjoncouse, where they cultivate plots of old vines. The wine is carefully aged in barrels. This is a wonderful initiative in this wild and rocky part of the Corbières region. This is a winery that will go far!
