Domaine des 2 Clés
The domain of the 2 Keys consists of 10 hectares of certified organic land and 4 hectares currently undergoing certification. The estate was founded in 2015 by a couple passionate about wine after meeting in Beaune: Gaëlle Richter, a Burgundian oenologist, and Florian Richter, a German wine trade expert. Enriched by their travels and experiences, they settled in Fontjoncouse in the Languedoc region after taking on a major challenge: finding a vineyard that was still affordable and had real potential.
In a magical setting, perched on the heights of the Corbières appellation on semi-sloping hillsides near the Mediterranean, the terroir at an altitude of 275 to 350 meters reveals a real freshness, including even old vines, some of which are over 111 years old. A real Gem showcased through the wines.
The soils of the Domaine des 2 Clés are cultivated using biodynamic methods, in harmony with the environment and adapted to each plot.
The wine is produced in the purest possible way, guided by a Burgundian spirit: gentle extraction to bring out the fruit, resulting in finesse and elegance. The wines of Domaine des 2 Clés are already featured on the menu of three-Michelin-starred chef Gilles Goujon at L'Auberge du Vieux Puits in Fontjoncouse.
